Scars of the Sun
Long time, no blog.
Hello, Dear Reader. It’s been a while! As I type this, I’m just three hours away from the release of my THIRD NOVEL, Scars of the Sun. It’s another unexpected detour on this paranormal romance road that’s starting to not be a detour anymore.
Río and Ramona were completely unanticipated, to the point that I had Instagram followers decide on his name, but I think I had the most fun with their story so far. Río and his crass yet humorous language were SO fun to write, and I resonated the most with Ramona’s personality, second to Meline’s.
At this point in my author journey, I’m starting to feel a little bit of traction, and it feels amazing! My dream would be to have my writing financially support myself in such a way that I could carve out more dedicated time in my day to just simply be an author. But! We’re not quite there yet.
Almost one year since I released my first book, I’ve:
Released THREE books
Started two series
Dreamed up so many new characters
Earned enough through my writing to cover my coffee habit and website and smaller author expenses. Hoping this stays consistent
Started a STREET TEAM. The Upton Coven has been so sweet and supportive. I’m so grateful for all of them!
Dreamed up so many new stories
And for this next year I hope to:
Write two more novellas of my PNR series
Write the sequel to Twin Blades
Write many a short story
Continue connecting with readers and writers online
Not sure what else to put in here other than that I’m extremely optimistic for the future, and here’s hoping that this damn writer’s block releases me so that I can finally write my MM side character novella!!!!!
Thank you so much for being here!
